WELDGOD / Digital files
WELDGOD digital engineering files are licensed for use, not sold as an ownership transfer. This page explains what the purchaser may and may not do with purchased files.
01 / License overview
The purchaser receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased WELDGOD digital engineering files.
Purchasing a product grants permission to use the files under these terms; ownership of the underlying WELDGOD intellectual property and engineering documentation is not transferred.
02 / What you can do
The license allows practical use of the purchased files for the purchaser's own fabrication and manufacturing purposes.
03 / What you cannot do
The original digital files and standalone derivative file packages may not be redistributed or represented as the purchaser's own original engineering documentation.
04 / Commercial fabrication
The purchaser may manufacture physical products based on purchased WELDGOD files and sell those physical products commercially. This permission does not extend to selling or redistributing the digital files themselves.
05 / Contractors and manufacturing services
The purchaser may provide necessary files to a contractor, fabricator, or manufacturing service solely when required to manufacture physical products for the purchaser or license holder. Those files may not be retained, reused, sold, or redistributed for unrelated purposes.
06 / Intellectual property
WELDGOD retains its rights in the original drawings, CAD files, documentation, branding, and other original digital content, subject to applicable law.
07 / Safety and fabrication responsibility
Purchasers are responsible for verifying fabrication suitability, materials, dimensions, tolerances, structural requirements, safety requirements, and compliance with applicable local laws, regulations, and standards before manufacturing or using a physical product.
